Why would any bride want or need a wedding/event coordinator?

It is common in this day and age that bride’s are marrying at an older age. This means that they are most likely working full time and have a host of other critical things that their life revolves around. Many times, our bride’s are planning destination weddings and simply do not have the time, energy and/or knowledge to plan the entire event. Understandably, it is a big event in the lives of family members who are about to join another family and start a new life. Getting marriage ranks about 7th on the stress chart, up there along side death, divorce and personal injury or illness. Understanding the bride’s emotions is a large part of the role of the coordinator or consultant. All of our couples are excited about the upcoming marriage/wedding, and at the same time, find themselves overwhelmed and stressed. Likewise, those planning company functions or corporate events, face the same challenges. Who has the time!!!!!?????

The coordinator is adept at keeping organized and providing reassurance throughout the process and all of the facets of planning a wedding or an event. Most weddings have a host of events that surround the big day. All events have a host of other critical things that surround the event. Weddings typically include a rehearsal/dinner, out-of-towner BBQ’s and parties, bridal showers, family gatherings, brunches, lunches and other dinners. Corporate events often include kick-off parties, meetings, newsletters, E-mail blasts, invitations and pre-event gatherings. Coordinators are capable of handling any crisis that might come up. This skill and service is vital for any bride-to-be or event team leader. There are many vendors involved in today’s weddings/events and having one person organize meetings, tastings, coordination the day of the event and managing any issues that may arise throughout the entire process, is placed in the hands of the coordinator. The least thought of and most critical assistance that any coordinator can provide is complete support and service the DAY OF the wedding/event.

Are we guaranteed your assistance on our wedding day or our event?

- You our experience, skills and personalities……We have experts in the field of make-up, set design, hair design and floral design. We work together for months, weeks and days in advance of your wedding or your special event to make sure that everything flows. Depending on the size and needs surrounding your special day, the staff will include a minimum of two to as many people as necessary to ensure that everything looks, flows and goes as you envision. Your fee covers the minimum of two people present at your event. If your event requires more attention than that, we will discuss how those additional staff people are paid at that time. The person you meet with to start the process is your contact throughout the entire design process up to and including the day of the big event.

How many years of experience do you have? Experience brings knowledge of common problems and situations. Be sure your event planner has experience with your type of event.

- Our staff has worked, designed, created and run over 500 events, specializing in weddings and public relation campaigns/events as well as every other type of event on the project’s page of this website. Our owner has been in marketing, public relations and event planning for more than 23 years as well as having been trained in media relations and public speaking, utilizing those skills for more than 28 years. We are experienced in all aspects of event planning and have gained the support, reputation and expertise needed and required to serve a vast variety of clients and industries.

May we call your references? References are a major part of the entertainment business.

- Yes! In fact, everyone associated with Elitevents ENCOURAGES and expects you to contact the references provided to you upon request. These clients have given permission to be contacted either by telephone and/or E-mail

Will you allow changes to the process?

- Change is part of what makes a wedding/event work. At anytime during the planning process, if there is something that needs to be changed or that you desire to change, we will meet to discuss the requests, review those with the overall scheme and plan and make adjustments. We consider the event “a living event”, even as the event unfolds. We will work through all requests with you and all changes will be followed up in writing to you and our working staff members. We want a seamless wedding/event and an event that matches your personality, budget and style.

If you are providing the flowers, décor design and room set up, how early will you be there to set-up?

- An average of 90 minutes should be allowed for wedding/reception set up. This is largely dependent on the needs of the wedding/event. Normally there is no additional charge for this service. However, each event and wedding is different and depending on what services you have contracted Elitevents for will depend on how much time is needed before or after the event or wedding for set up and tear down. In most cases, we do not charge extra to be part of the tear-down. This critical part of your event will allow you to rest assured that items rented, borrowed or left behind are returned to the rightful vendor and/or owner(s).

How will you be dressed? Proper attire reflects a positive image to your guests.

- We are open to your guidance but typically, all staff members serving your event or wedding needs, will be dressed according to the event but no less that dress shirts, dress slacks and dress shoes. If you request or require specific clothing, we will make sure that this is part of the signed agreement.

Our fees include a one hour free consultation. We charge $45 per hour or, based upon your budget, we provide consultations services included in the overall fee. Fees are typically based upon a percent of your total budget. Because each wedding and event is different, we will meet with you to determine the fee
